In-Person & Virtual Therapy
Psychological Assessments involve a comprehensive process to evaluate your cognitive, emotional, behavioural, and psychological functioning. These assessments can be used to guide treatment planning, request educational accommodations, and/or provide diagnostic clarification. Currently, Good Days offers Adult ADHD assessments and psychodiagnostic/mental health assessments (e.g., mood disorders, substance use disorders, PTSD).
While the assessment process varies, you can expect to attend between 3-5 sessions that can be conducted virtually or in-person. Fees will be discussed based on the type of assessment.

Assessments can be helpful if you’ve noticed ongoing difficulties with focus, organization, mood, or relationships, or if you’ve had long-standing questions about whether ADHD, anxiety, depression, or another condition may be part of your experience. They can also be useful if you’re seeking a clearer picture to guide therapy, school, or workplace accommodations.
We usually begin with an in-depth interview to learn about your personal history, current challenges, and goals. Depending on your needs, we may then use questionnaires or standardized tests or talk to someone else in your life who can give us further insight (e.g., parent, partner, health care professional). Afterward, you’ll receive clear feedback about the results and recommendations for next steps, such as therapy strategies, lifestyle supports, or accommodations at school or work.
If the results clearly point to a specific condition, such as ADHD or depression, we can provide a formal diagnosis. In some cases, the results may show overlapping patterns without a single label. Either way, you’ll leave with a clear explanation and practical recommendations that can help you move forward.
No, those assessments require completing a comprehensive Psychological Assessment that evaluates overall functioning, including cognitive and neuropsychological domains. Currently, Good Days focuses Psychological Assessments on Adult ADHD and psychodiagnostic/mental health concerns (e.g., mood disorders, substance use disorders, PTSD).
