Bio
My approach to therapy is centred around collaboration, where you take the lead in shaping your path to healing. I will offer insight and practical support to empower self-awareness and change, and prioritize empathetic listening to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and safe. My work as a crisis counsellor and educator at the YWCA opened my eyes to the importance of community healing and confronting the broader systemic factors that contribute to your well-being. Integrating social context into therapy will enrich your personal growth and care, and empower you to make meaningful changes in your life.

I hold a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology from the University of Toronto’s Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE). Before returning to Canada for graduate school, I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Psychological Science at California State University San Marcos.
I volunteered at the YWCA Silicon Valley in San Jose, California for seven years, serving as both a crisis counselor and community educator. I worked with a diverse community, including many undocumented, marginalized, and unhoused individuals. As a crisis counselor, I supported survivors of gender-based violence through a 24/7 crisis line, short-term counseling, and support groups. As a community educator, I led presentations on healthy relationships, consent, child abuse prevention and safety, sexual violence, and human trafficking. I also volunteered with the Alzheimer’s Association in San Diego where I facilitated workshops on Alzheimer’s and related neurocognitive disorders.
